Two men wanted in connection with Dollar General robbery

LITTLE CYPRESS — Police are searching for two black males in connection with an armed robbery at 10:05 p.m. Monday night at the Dollar General located at 5725 North State Hwy. 87 in Little Cypress.

Orange Police officers were told by two employees that two suspects armed with handguns entered the store demanding money from the employees.

The employees complied and both subjects fled from the store before police arrived on scene with an undetermined amount of currency.

According to employees, one of the subjects was wearing a black jacket and a grey hoodie, the other suspect had a silver, black, and white camouflage style jacket with a hoodie.

Both suspects fled the store on foot before officers arrival, within four minutes of the initial call.

No injuries were reported during the robbery and the case remains under investigation by the city of Orange Detective Division.
