Why: Due to the latest updates on Tropical Storm Cindy and potential early
landfall causing flood conditions, the Stark Cultural Venues and offices
will close early to the public.

Details: Updated weather predictions and flash flood warnings have prompted an
early closure of all venues at noon Wednesday, June 21. Venues will
remain closed throughout the day Thursday, June 22, 2017.
Shangri La Gardens Outpost Tours: Outpost Tours along Adams Bayou are closed and will remain closed at this time. An evaluation of the water levels to ensure public safety on the bayou will be made June 23, and the re-open date of the Tours will be as soon as possible.

We encourage every one to make cautious decisions about areas that appear
flooded or that are known to flood quickly during storms.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the venues plan to re-open
Friday, June 23 (unless otherwise indicated at a later date).
