LITTLE CYPRESS — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears made quick work of the West Orange-Stark Lady Mustangs with a 19-0 victory at Lady Bear Field Wednesday.

The win pushes the Lady Bears to 6-1 in District 22-4A play and they are now a half game up on the Bridge City Lady Cardinals in the district race as Bridge City’s game with Silsbee was washed off Wednesday and has moved to Friday.

LC-M will visit Bridge City Thursday night.

Jaycie Perry was 2-for-3 at the plate for the lady Bears with a double.

Madison Murdock, Ashley Short and Renna Toomey had hits for the Lady Bears.

Jenna James got the win on the mound. She worked five innings, striking out 10 while allowing no hits and one walk.
