Orange Police Department officer responding to a welfare check at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the 1700 block of 16^th Street found a woman who reported a kidnapping, assault and robbery.

The 32-year-iold woman told the officer she had been assaulted by a known suspect, driven to another location against her will and had items stolen from her during another assault, according to a police report.

The woman was uncooperative with the investigation.

The case remains under investigation.
