Last Friday the Little Cypress-Mauriceville boys golf team captured second-place in the Larry Dale Paine Memorial golf tournament.

The Bears shot a 334 as a team.Nederland won the event with a 323.

Evan Toohey lpaced the Bears with a third-place finish with a 79 followed by teammates Trey Love (84), Jack Tindel (84), Blade Broussard (87) and Spencer Johns (90).
