A vehicle unable to maintain a single lane, hitting a curb on 16th Street and stopping for a green light at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday night lead to a man being charged with driving while intoxicated and for an unrelated outstanding county warrant.

The warrant was from the Orange County Court at Law for assault misdemeanor class A.

Randall Hancock, the driver, was stopped at the 3700 block of 16th Street in Orange.

An officer at the scene did not smell alcohol on Hancock, and believed he was on an unknown narcotic at the time, according to a police report.

Hancock did admit to drinking one 24 ounce beer and agreed to a blood test.
