BRIDGE CITY — The Bridge City Lady Cardinals edged the Livingston Lady Lions 3-2 at Lady Cardinal Field Tuesday.

The Lady Cardinals once again got off to a late start with their bats but we’re able to stay in game with Kassidy Wilbur in the circle. Wilbur had five strike outs while only giving up one earned hit.

Wilbur was 1-for-2 at the plate with two intentional walks. Natalie Reed came up big in the 7th inning with a RBI single to finally put the Lady Cardinals on the board. Jalynne Burch and Meagan Sourdellia also went 1-for-3 at the plate.

The Lady Cardinals will compete in theJasperTournament Thursday through Saturday.
