LC-M grad Fraccastoro nabs Preseason honor for SFA

NACOGDOCHES — Former Little Cypress-Mauriceville softball standout Taylor Fraccastoro was recently selected to the Preseason All-Southland Conference Team at catcher.

Fraccastoro appeared and started in all 57 games last season She posted a .294 batting average, the second best on the team. She claimed 30 runs and 30 Runs batted in.

She belted seven homeruns off 47 hits. She notched 206 put-outs and 21 assists from behind the plate. She was part of a team that went to the championship round of the Southland Conference Tournament.

In high school she was a four-year letter winner and started as a catcher and outfielder. She was a three-time First Team All-District selection and was the Orange Leader Team Player of the Year in 2013 and 2014.
