The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears placed fifth at the Hardin- Jefferson Tournament at Idlywild golf course in the first golf tournament of the season,

Theresa Beckett paced the Lady Bears with a 105 followed by teammates Jessica McLain 107, and Marlee Bird shot 118, Kaylee White 137 and Emily Warner 160.

The Lady Bears will compete in the Vidor Tournament next week in Brentwood.
