WEST ORANGE — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats improved their District 22-4A mark to 3-2 with a convincing 46-27 win over the West Orange-Stark lady Mustangs Friday night at Mustang Gym.

Emmi Lummus paced the Lady Bobcats with 12 points to go along with four rebounds and four steals.

Paris Fregia tallied 10 points and had three rebounds and three steals while Cameron Choate contributed four rebounds.

The Lady Bobcats will visit Bridge City Tuesday while the Lady Mustangs (0-5 in district) host first-place Silsbee.

Silsbee girls 81, LC-M 38

LITTLE CYPRESS — The first-place Silsbee Lady Tigers (50) took down the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears 81-38 in District 22-4A play at The Bear Cave Friday night.

Chelsea Perry led the Lady Bears with nine points while Jacie Miller added eight.

The Lady Bears 92-3 in district) will host Hamshire-Fannett Tuesda¥.

Silsbee boys 99, LC-M 39

LITTLE CYPRESS — The top-ranked Silsbee Tigers remained undefeated in District 22-4A by roughing up the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears 99-39 at Tiger Gym Friday night.

The Tigers (19-5, 3-0) went on a 24-11 run in the first quarter and stretched the lead to 47-22 at intermission.

Point guard Ayson Simmons had a solid game for the Bears (16-11, 2-1), scoring a game-high 25 points.

Trajan Harris paced the Tigers with 21 points. Devon McCain scored 18 for the Tigers while Braelon Bush had 17 and Bruce Newton 14.

The Bears will look to regroup Tuesday when they visit Hamshire-Fannett.
