Special to The Leader
Ochs Family Toys for Tots campaign held their annual toy distribution for needy children living throughout Orange, Jefferson and Hardin counties on Saturday, Dec. 17. Families that arrived Saturday to pick up their toys were greeted by Santa and two of his elves who volunteered their time and services so that families could take a picture with Santa free of charge.
Because of the support from the individuals and businesses throughout the communities in the three counties, The Ochs Family Toys for Tots campaign was able to bring the joy of opening a new toy at Christmas to over 1,000 children which includes children that are currently in foster care in the three counties. Each family that received toys at this years distribution also received a new bike.
