A two – three year old child standing on the interstate attempting to wave cars down on Saturday lead to a call to Child Protective Services (CPS).

At approximately 7:15 a.m. Saturday Orange Police Department received a call of a young child near Interstate 10, at the 800 block of Lutcher Drive in Orange, attempting to wave down passing cars passing on the busy the highway.

A report and photographs were taken and CPS was contacted.
