PRESS RELEASE — On November 20, 2016 at 10:34 a.m. Officers with the Lake Charles Police Department were dispatched to 606 North Shattuck Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located a male victim on the ground in front of that location. The victim had been shot several times by an unknown suspect.

The suspect was described as a black male of average build wearing dark colored clothing. The suspect fled the scene on foot east on Gieffers Street.
