ORANGEFIELD — After a week of rest, the Orangefield Bobcats are ready to get back to business as they look to make a march towards a playoff berth out of District 12-4A Division II.

The Bobcats (3-4, 0-1) can help themselves out tremendously when they welcome in the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns (1-7, 0-2).

Orangefield looks to bounce back well after the Bobcats dropped their 12-4A opener to undefeated Liberty (8-0, 2-0) on Oct. 7.

Meanwhile, the Longhorns will be looking for an upset after struggling throughout their campaign. The Longhorns fell to Liberty 48-13 last week and have been outscored 324-167 for the season.

The Bobcats will look to churn out the yards against a struggling H-F defense with a power running game.

The Bobcats are averaging 278.1 yards a game, 261.9 of it via the ground.

The Longhorns are allowing 363 yards a game with opponents rushing for 283.4 yards a game.

The balanced Bobcat running game is paced by back Christopher McGee, who has 585 yards and seven touchdowns on 72 carries.

Christian Louvier has rumbled for 275 yards and five TDs on 44 totes. Wesley Frillou has darted for 263 yards and three TDs on 38 carries and quarterback Caleb Kress has 216 yards and five TDs on 53 carries.

H-F is averaging 271.1 yards a game on offense and will tangle with a Bobcat defense that allows 264.4.

Longhorn tailback Tyrece White is 12-4A’s second leading rusher with 759 yards and six TDs on 116 carries.

H-F quarterback Matthew Conkle has completed 31-of-81 passes for 386 yards and two TDs with five interceptions. He has rushed for 233 yards and two TDs on 49 carries.

The Longhorns lone win of the season came against Beaumont Kelly 61-7.

This will mark the 37^th meeting between the two schools. H-F leads the series 19-17 and defeated the Bobcats 48-35 last year after Orangefield had won the previous six meetings.

The Bobcats will travel to Hardin-Jefferson next week.
