Arrest for stolen vehicle leads to drug bust

PRESS RELEASE — On 09-26-16, Officers with the Orange Police Department Narcotics Division and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division initiated a traffic stop on a black Ford truck in the 2800 block of Elmira. The vehicle pulled in to the driveway of a residence in the 2800 block of Elmira. The vehicle displayed two different license plates. A computer check of the vehicle’s identification number revealed the truck was reported stolen from of Houston. The driver, identified as 38 year old Charles Leboue, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle. Contact was then made with the occupant of the residence. While speaking with the white female about the truck, detectives saw drug paraphernalia on the living room table. During the search of the residence, detectives discovered approximately 25 grams of methamphetamine. 33 year old Jessica Murphy was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both were transported to the Orange County Jail for processing.
