The public is invited to here well-known local author, Arlon Davis, speak at the Orange County Christian Writer’s Guild this Tuesday night, August 9, 2016, from 6-7 pm.

Arlon grew up in East Texas and still resides here. He grew up listening to the telling and retelling of old stories around the hunters’ campfire. According to Mr. Davis, some of those old storytellers were by far the biggest liars and fabricators the world has ever known outside the likes of Mark Twain. They were stories rich beyond measure and some he has put to print.

The Orange County Christian Writer’s Guild meets the second Tuesday of the month from 6-7 pm at the Brown Hearing Center, 105 Camellia in Orange (behind the Dairy Queen).
