Pastor Luncheon
West Orange – Cove CISD would like to invite area pastors to attend a Pastor Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the WOCCISD Educational Service Center, 902 W. Park Avenue, Orange. The event will provide the occasion to fellowship, as well as discuss shared communities. Pastors should contact the WOCCISD Superintendent’s Office at 882-5600 to confirm attendance by Thursday, July 21 at 12 p.m.
Hunter Education Safety Class
Texas Parks & Wildlife Hunter Education Safety Class Mon and Tue July 25 and 26 from
6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. in Orangefield. Must attend both sessions. Certification is required
if you are at least 17 years old and were born on or after Sept. 2, 1971 to hunt in Texas.
You can become certified at 9 years old. Call Danny Odom at 409-883-8118 to register and directions. This is not just for hunters, anyone with firearms can benefit from this class.

Hand Quilting Demonstration
Thrift and Gift Shop holds a free Hand Quilting demonstration from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., every Tues. and Thurs. at 350 South 37th Street in Orange (located in the old Salk School). For more information call 409-886-7649.
Overcomers Outreach
Overcomers Outreach, a Christ centered Recovery Group, “Serving as a Bridge between 12 step Recovery Groups and Churches of all denominations” meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene 3810 MLK Jr Drive in Orange.
