On July 5, a new way to discover authors will be launched.  Who’s the Author Contest, uses images created from the MSQRD app of Texas Authors along with a hint about the author or their books.  The person(s) who gets the answers correct, will win gift certificates ranging from $250 to $50.

While the contest is open to all ages, we strongly encourage adults to monitor the contest with their children to avoid any books that may not be suitable for children to read.

The contest begins July 5 and runs for fourteen days, with a new clue tweeted on the @DearTexasRead page and posted on Facebook by DEAR Texas, Inc., a non-profit that encourages people of ALL ages to read more.

Texas Authors, Inc., has teamed up with DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) Texas to promote Texas authors and to give prizes to the winners, which is part of both organizations outreach programs to Texan’s.
