Orange Public Library presents 2016 Summer Reading Program

The Orange Public Library presents its 2016 Summer Reading Program.

“On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!” is open to children, infant through 6th grade, with programs, story times, reading incentives and more. “On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!” includes a Read-to-Me program and a Summer Reading Club.

The Read-to-Me program is for children, infant through kindergarten, accompanied by their guardian. This is a 30-minute story time from 10:45-11:15 a.m., each Wednesday, June 8 – July 20, held in the Children’s Room.

The Summer Reading Club is for 1st – 6th graders each Wednesday, June 8 – July 20, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the Library’s meeting room. This program will include science related presentations including chemistry experiments, magic, guest presenters and more.

“Get In The Game, READ!” is the teen program for 7th – 11th graders and will be held each Tuesday evening, June 7 – July 19, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Library’s meeting room. This program will include crafts, games, movies, guest presenters, snacks and reading incentives.
