The City of Pinehurst water department will be flushing fire hydrants tonight, May 18th,2016 beginning at 8:00 P.M. until midnight. This is to keep the discoloration of your water caused by settlement to a minimum.  There may be some discoloration of your water between 8:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M.  If the discoloration persists after that time, please contact the water/sewer department at 409-886-4378.  This message has been distributed via Blackboard Connect by Chief Fred Hanauer of the City of Pinehurst Police Department.
