Sex offender arrested for not updating Sex Offender Identification

On April 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., Louisiana Sex Offender Marlon David Clark arrived at the Lake Charles Police Department Sex Offender Registry for his initial sex offender registration. Marlon Clark presented a Louisiana Sex Offender Identification card with a Scott, Louisiana address. Marlon Clark has lived in Lake Charles since April 1, 2016 and has not updated his Sex Offender Identification as required by Louisiana law. Marlon Clark was arrested and booked at Lake Charles Police Detective Division and transported to the Calcasieu Correctional Center for confinement. An arrest warrant was presented to Judge Robert Wyatt who placed a bond of $2,500.00 on the warrant. Marlon Clark was convicted in 2012 for Possession of Child Pornography. Clark was released from custody in March 2016 and has not had a Louisiana Tier assigned to him.
