As of Noon, April 18, 2016, the Orangefield Water Supply Corporation area has received several inches of rain.  This has caused some sewer outages. Some of our sewer system is currently water logged.   If you are having difficulting in flushing, please do not continue to flush.  We are working on dewatering our sewer system and continuing to flush will backup into your sewer causing flooding in your home.

Run a small amount of water in your bath tub, no more than an inch.  If it does not drain, do not use the sewer system.  When the water will drain out of the tub, continue to run water in the tub, if that works then the system should be working, if not wait awhile and try again.
