The Guild held their monthly meeting in April. Sarah Johnson gave an update on “Art in the Park” where the Guild held a booth. Johnson said the gathering was a huge success not only for the Guild but the Community as well.

Tena Sanford, a member of the Guild, passed out business cards for the Guild to create awareness. She met several Authors and a possible Speaker for the Guild. She also dressed in full length costume from the 1800’s as well as Johnson’s two girls, promoting Johnson’s book, the trilogy A Pride & Prejudice Variation Series.

The Guild is not all business but still likes to incorporate benefits to the members so they played a variation of hang man to learn new vocabulary words. The list of words, were from the most missed words on the SAT’s, so it was very changeling.

A new author, Harry Golemon visited and told of his new book “Mazzaroth and the Birth of a Nation” that comes out in May of this year.

If you’d like to visit or become a member of the Guild, it is free and open to the public. The Guild meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Brown Hearing Center, 105 Camellia, Orange behind the Dairy Queen.
