City Removal of Flood Damaged Debris in the City of Orange

The City of Orange will commence with the flood damaged debris pick up on Monday, April 4, 2016 in the areas where homes were affected by the recent flooding.

The debris pick up is expected to run for approximately 60 days to give everyone affected more than one opportunity to have the damaged materials picked up.

The materials to be picked up must be in separate piles. The FEMA rules for separation are as follows:

  1. C & D Pile – Construction & Demolition Material – wood material, sheetrock, furniture, etc.
  2. Green Waste Pile – Limbs, Branches, Cuttings, etc.
  3. White Goods – Refrigerator, Stove, Washer, Dryer, Freezer, etc.
  4. Hazardous Waste – Paints, Household Chemicals, etc.
