BEAUMONT – The local Volunteer Agencies Active in Disaster (VOAD) group will initiate preliminary planning for long-term flood recovery for Jasper, Newton and Orange counties at a meeting Wednesday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m.  The meeting will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 936 TX Highway in Buna. VOAD members are urged to ask other local organizations interested in helping with long-term recovery to attend the meeting; lunch will be provided.
