SOUR LAKE — The Bridge City Lady Cardinals improved o 5-0 on the District 24-4A softball season with a big 4-2 road victory over the Hardin-Jefferson Lady Hawks last Thursday.

Kassidy Wilbur notched the win on the mound for the Lady Cardinals. She picked up seven strikeouts and also hit a home run.

Caitlin Denison was 3-for-3 at the plate and drove in a run. Hannah Carpenter was 2-for-4 while Meagan Sourdellia was 1-for-3 and drove in a run.

The Lady Cardinals host West Orange-Stark Tuesday.
