Red Cross, Local Partners Extend Newton, Orange and Deweyville Resource Center Hours for Area Flood Victims

Hours at the Newton, Orange and Deweyville Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) are being extended to better serve families impacted by storms and floods. Families who visit the centers now have a longer window of time to meet with case workers who will help identify potential resources to aid in their recovery.

WHEN:           Hours are now 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. each day except this Sunday.

The mobile resource center, available at the locations below, will continue to operate between 2 – 8 p.m.

Items such as food, water and cleaning supplies will be available at the centers.

To ensure visitors receive the help they need, they should bring a utility bill, driver’s license or other document showing they live in the flood-affected home.

Families with flood-related needs but aren’t able to visit a Multi-Agency Resource Center are urged to call the American Red Cross at 1-866-526-8300.
