Balderdash for the Orange County Christian Writers Guild

The purpose of the Guild is to encourage young writers to have a good supply of references in order to complete their project whether it be poetry, fiction, non-fiction, or self help, etc. The OCCW Guild met again for their monthly meeting and played a version of “Balderdash”. If you don’t know anything about the game – Balderdash, it has incredibly hard, abnormal, words that you have to come up with a creative definition to. The version the Guild played, had hard words, but not abnormal words. They played for York Peppermint Patties as their tokens, so they could determine who the overall winner was at the end of the night. They also discussed their plans for Art in the Park and had a Guild Member read an excerpt from the book she is working on. If you are working on a writing piece or don’t know how to start, visit the Guild the second Tuesday of the month, at 105 Camellia, Orange at 6:00 pm.
