Little Cypress-Mauriceville senior Lauren Cox took first-place at the LC-M Golf Tournament on Monday, shooting a 75 in blustery conditions.

The Lady Bears team also consisting of Theresa Beckett (103), Kacie Nichols (104), Jessica McLain (111) and Marlee Bird (137) shot a 393 to take second-place.

Port Neches-Groves won the team title with a 364. Lady Indian Karlei Hemler shot a 78 to finish second.
