Lake Charles continues crack down on unregistered sex offenders

On March 4, 2016 at 6:00 a.m. Louisiana Sex Offender Irin Lee Monceaux, 51 years of age, was arrested at a local hotel for Failure to Register/Notify as a Sex Offender as required by  Louisiana law. Monceaux completed his last registration in February 2015 with the Lake Charles Police Department Sex Offender/Child Predator Division and he is required to register annually.

Monceaux was convicted in 1994 of Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile. His victim was a 15-year old female. In 2009 Monceaux was convicted of Sexual Battery and Indecent Behavior with Juveniles. His victim was a 16-year old female. Monceaux was also convicted in 1998 for Failure to Register/Notify as a Sex Offender making this his 2nd violation for registration. Irin Lee Monceaux is Louisiana Tier 3 Sex Offender requiring him to register for life.  Monceaux was booked at the Lake Charles Police department.  An arrest warrant was presented to Judge Robert who placed a bond of $10,000 on the warrant. Monceaux was transported to the Calcasieu Correctional Center where he is currently confined.
