Bobcats nip PA Memorial

LUMBERTON — The Orangefield Bobcats pounded out a 4-3 victory over the Port Arthur Memorial Titans Thursday at the Lumberton Tournament.
The Bobcats picked up a run in the top o0f the sixth inning to seal it.
The Bobcats outhit the Titans 7-4.
Johnny Armstrong went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in a run.
Ryan Deutsch was 1-for-2 and scored two runs. Payton Lathrop was 1-for-2, drove in a run and scored another. Brett Fregia went 1-for-2 and scored and Dylan Anthony was 1-for-3.
Anthony tossed 4 1/3 innings, allowing four hits, three runs while striking out four and walking four. Lathrop got the win in relief, going 1 2/3 innings, allowing no hits while striking out two and walking two.
