WILDWOOD — Little Cypress-Mauriceville’s Lauren Cox won her fourth tournament of the season Monday as she shot a sizzling 72 to win the Warren Tournament.

The Lady Bears took second as a team, firing a team score of 389.

Other Lady Bear scores included Theresa Beckett (99), Kacie Nichols (103), Jessica McLain (115) and Marlee Bird (134).

Port Neches-Groves took first-place team honors with a 351. PN-G’s Karlei Hemler was second overall with a 77 while Lady Indian teammate Bryanna Bailey was third with an 80.

The Lady Bears will host their own tournament Mar. 7 at Sunset Grove Country Club.
