Speed limit to be lowed along State Highways 87 and 73

The speed limit along State Highway 87/State Highway 73 from West Port Arthur Road to Bridge City will be lowered Tuesday, February 23.
The Texas Transportation Commission passed a minute order December 17, 2015 allowing for the reduction in speed from 75mph to 65mph. The new speed limit will be enforceable once the new signs have been installed.
