ORANGEFIELD — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats dropped a tough 10-6 decision to a powerful Port Neches-Groves team in the season openers for both squads at Lady Bobcat Field Tuesday.

Kaylee Ancelot had a single and a double and drove in three runs for the Lady Bobcats.

Karlye Bramblett, Haley Fontenot, Autumn Frost and Maleah Saucedo each had singles while Morghan Kelley and Landry Choate both had a RBI.

The Lady Bobcats will be back in action Tuesday when they host Lumberton.
