ORANGEFIELD — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats nipped the Bridge City Lady Cardinals 50-43 in District 24-4A action at Bobcat Gym Tuesday night to start the second half of 24-4A play.

The win pushes the Lady Bobcats to 6-1 overall in district play as they sit just one game back behind first-place Silsbee.

Emmi Lummus had a tremendous game for the Lady Bobcats, scoring 21points to go along with 11 rebounds and five steals.

Hanna Lowe chimed in with 16 points and four rebounds. Paris Fregia contributed eight points, two rebounds and two steals while Sabryn Crain had four points and 12 rebounds.

The Lady Bobcats will visit LC-M Friday while Bridge City will welcome in Hamshire-Fannett.
