WEST ORANGE — McDonald Baptist Church is reaching out to the community to give residents a place to celebrate Thanksgiving.

The free Community-wide Thanksgiving Meal 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, November 26 began after Hurricane Ike in 2008.

“”This gives people with no family a place to go,” Pastor Tommy Anthony said. “Come be family with us.”

Anthony said the pervious pastor began the tradition and he is honored to continue it.

McDonald Baptist Church is located at the corner of South and Broad Streets in West Orange.

Due to the increased attendance residents are asked to make reservations by calling 883-3974.
