The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from Sept. 1 – Sept. 7, 2015:

 

Tuesday, Sept. 1

  • Theft at the 4100 block of Hoo Hoo Road.
  • Assault at the 1500 block of Antler Drive in Vidor.
    • Animal nuisance at the 1000 Farm to Market 1131 in Vidor.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 2

  • Cruelty to animals at the 7500 block of Circle 10 in Mauriceville. A dog was attacking chickens.
  • Theft at the 5200 block of Victory Lane in Orange.
  • Criminal mischief at the 5700 block of Tyler in Vidor.
  • Possession of methamphetamine near North Main and Farm to Market Road 1132 in Vidor. A female was arrested after a search of a vehicle during a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of a controlled substance.

 

Thursday, Sept. 3

  • Juvenile problem at the 2000 block of Roundbunch Road in Orange.
  • Suspicious person near Hwy. 12 and Williamson Road in Orange. A make was riding a bicycle on the wrong side of the roadway. The man was later arrested for an unrelated offence.

 

Friday, Sept. 4

  • Assault at the 10000 block of Farm to Market Road 105 in Orangefield.

 

Saturday, Sept. 5

  • Assault at the 500 block of Cornell Road in Vidor.
  • Disturbance at the 4200 block of Farm to Market Road 1131 in Vidor.
  • Criminal mischief at the 100 block of Chinese Elm in Vidor.
  • Disturbance at the 14600 block of State Hwy. 62 in Orange.
  • Theft at the 1800 block of Dublin in Vidor.

 

Sunday, Sept. 6

  • Alarm at the 2600 block of Briggs in Orange.
  • Theft at the North Service Road at Neches River in Vidor.
  • Burglary at the 7400 block of Farm to Market Road 1006 in Orange.
  • Reckless driving near State Hwy. 62 and Farm to Market Road 1130 overpass.
  • Trespass at the 3000 block of Farm to Market Road 3247 in Orange.

 

Monday, Sept. 7

  • Disturbance at the 3200 block of Lawn Oak Drive in Orange.
  • Disturbance at the 5100 block of Highlander in Orange.
