Gnats and lack of hot water lower health score for Orange store

Texas Country Store #1, 3701 North 16th Street in Orange, received a health score of 79 out of a possible 100 during a recent health code inspection. The store received demerits for several gnats in the back storage room, water not hot enough at the three-compartment sink and in the restroom, several expired food items on the shelves, as well as old food and trash found on the floor inside the walk-in cooler.
