Orange City Councilmembers recognized the West Orange-Stark Mustangs coaches and baseball team during Tuesday afternoon’s council meeting and proclaimed Tuesday, June 23, as West Orange-Stark Mustangs Baseball Team Day. The honor was bestowed upon the players and coaches for the team’s stampede through the Class 4A playoffs and into the Class 4A Championship game. The team overcame six consecutive elimination games in route to the title game before losing to Argyle, 7-3.
