Special to The Leader—
The Orange Rotary Club is honored to donate to the Back to School Orange County Program.
Each year, many students are unable to afford school supplies and have to start their first day with an empty backpack. The Orange Rotary Club was able to provide 100 Pre-K kits totaling $1,490. The actual event will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, August 15, inside the Student Center at the Lamar State College–Orange.
There will be free school supplies and more provided by area churches and organizations from across Orange County. For more information about the Back to School Orange County program please visit www.backtoschoolorange.com.
