John McMillan wants answers.
McMillan was assaulted by two men who were called to the location by McMillan’s female companion.
“She called them to pick her up,” McMillan said. “Then when the came inside they started acting aggressive.”
McMillan said there was a witness to the assault.
“They wanted my medication,” McMillan, who is disabled, said. “But I wouldn’t give it to them.”
The incident happened May 12 at the 3300 block of Ridgemont Drive in Orange.
“No one has a right to come inside my apartment to do this to me,” McMillan said. “It feels like the police or the DA is not doing anything. There is a detective that is working on the case but I am the one who has to find the witnesses and send them in to make a statement.”
McMillan said he feels the police are dragging their feet on the investigation.
“It has been over a month,” McMillan said.
