Memorial Day weekend closings announced

All non-essential government offices for local cities and the county will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
City offices in Orange, West Orange, Pinehurst, Bridge City, Vidor, Rose City and Pine Forest will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Non-essential offices for Orange County will also be closed. All offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26. Garbage collection will run as normal.
Orange County Commissioners Court will be held Tuesday, May 26, instead of its normal time on Monday.
All banks and credit unions will be closed Monday, as will State and Federal governmental offices. The United States Postal Service will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday with mail delivery will resume on Tuesday.
Local schools will also be closed in observance of Memorial Day, including the West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District, Little Cypress-Mauriceville Consolidated Independent School District, Bridge City ISD, Orangefield ISD and Vidor ISD.
