Competing for Queen

ORANGE — Three young women from Orange County recently competed in the Texas High School Rodeo Association Queens Contest, competing to see who would represent Region V as the new reigning rodeo queen for the 2013-2014 year. The girls, from left, Lori Bailleaux, Keeley Gray and Bailee Ackerman, competed in Athens, Texas on Dec. 22, 2012, in categories modeling, impromptu speaking, speech, personality and horsemanship. Gray won the Region V title. Ackerman is first runner-up and Bailleaux is second runner-up.
