The Vidor Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual meeting and banquet this coming week to celebrate another successful year.
The Vidor Chamber of Commerce will hold its 59th Annual Meeting and Banquet on Thursday, Jan. 30, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Hall, 1600 N. Main in Vidor. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. with the dinner starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person or a table for six is $150.
Dickie Woodard, the outgoing president of the Vidor Chamber of Commerce, was pass the gavel to Ronnie Herrera, the incoming president. The banquet will also include awards for the Citizen of the Year and the well-kept secret of Citizen of the Year.
This year’s guest speaker is David “Dave” Mulcahy, the director of the Small Business Development Center of Lamar University in Beaumont. Mulcahy has 22 years of consulting and business coaching, as well as advising experience. He has also owned and operated business in the service, oil and gas exploration industry, food service, distribution, healthcare industry, and retail and manufacturing.
