ORANGE — Fertina Malveaux Jr. died on Friday August 23, 2013 at his residence in Orange, Texas after a short illness.

Mr. Malveaux was a native of Opelousas, Louisiana and resided in Orange, Texas for 50 years. He was a faithful member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church where

he served as Deacon, male chorus and as church treasure along with other ministries within the church. He was retired from Firestone Rubber Company in Orange with 37 years of service.

Mr. Malveaux was preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean Brackens Malveaux.

Going home celebration will be at 11:00 am Thursday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church located at 612 N 3rd street in Orange, Texas with Pastor John H. Smith officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 am til time of service. Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Memorial

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughter Jacqueline Malveaux Sibley (Waymon) of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren

and a host of family and friends.
