ORANGE — The Orange Jaycees Annual Christmas Parade was held in spectacular fashion on Thursday night (Dec. 19) as hundreds of area residents lined MacArthur Drive and Green Avenue to see the beautifully decorated and lighted floats and vehicles. Of course the biggest cheers were for Santa Claus, who made a last minute trip to Orange, Texas, atop a fire truck with the Orange Fire Department.
A total of 54 entries participated in the oft-delayed, and rescheduled 2013 parade. The event received a last minute reprieve on Dec. 12 as the Kiwanis Club of Orange offered its assistance to the Jaycees to make sure the parade continued to the delight of adults and children alike.
Congrats to all who participated and kept the tradition alive!
