Put on your dancing shoes because there is a party in town on Saturday night.
The Tx-La Country Cousins are back in town on Saturday, Dec. 7, and the group is performing on stage at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 803 N. 28th St. in Pinehurst. Admission is $8 per person and the public is welcome to attend.
The group is well known for its expert musicianship and its flamboyant fiddle player Ralph Richardson, who celebrated his 90th birthday in August.
“It’s going to be a fun time and I would love for all of our friends to come out and see us one last time,” Richardson said. “I’m not sure if this will be my last show or not, but, at some point soon, I’m going to hang this up and call it career.”
The band performs a variety of country and Cajun music and has been known for donating its time to area residents in numerous benefit events.
