The holiday season has just arrived and the tidings of joy and good music have as well.
Nutty Jerry’s Entertainment Complex will kick-off the new year in style as venue management announced this week two big concerts are already on the schedule for 2014.
Legendary blues artist B.B. King is back in Southeast Texas for a concert appearance at Nutty Jerry’s on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 27 for this all ages concert at www.nuttyjerrys.com or charge by phone at 877-643-7508. Prices are $45 - $100 each.
King, 88, is considered by many to be one of the most influential guitarists of all time, including Rolling Stone magazine which ranked him at No. 6 on its list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.
King is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as he was inducted in 1987 and is considered to be “The King of the Blues.”
His last studio album, “One Kind Favor,” was released in August 2008 and won the Grammy Award for “Best Traditional Blues Album.”
He is best known for songs like “The Thrill is Gone,” “My Lucille,” “Sweet Little Angel,” “I Like to Live the Love” and many more.

Aaron Lewis, the frontman of one of the most popular bands in rock music , Staind, is headed back to Nutty Jerry’s for the second time in 16 months with a concert appearance on Saturday, Feb. 1. Tickets are $35 - $65 each for all ages.
Although Lewis is most recognizable as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist for multi-platinum hard rock act Staind, he has begun to earn a strong reputation as a country music artist as well.
He released his first full length album, “The Road,” in November 2012. The disc peaked at No. 30 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart behind the strength of hit singes “Endless Summer,” “Forever” and “Granddaddy’s Gun.”
