HOUSTON — Houston police are trying to locate two suspects after a man celebrating his 38th birthday was slain following the party.

Police on Tuesday identified the victim as Eloy Montemayor and said his pickup truck is missing.

No cause of death was immediately released for Montemayor. He was celebrating his birthday with family and friends on Sunday. Most of the attendees left before midnight.

Police say Montemayor was last seen alive early Monday with two men who were at the residence. Another partygoer left but later returned, found the door unlocked and Montemayor dead of unknown wounds.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the two men and locating the victim's truck. The 1998 red Ford F-150 extended cab pickup has Texas license plates BLT-1038.
