Market Basket announced the re-opening of their Mauriceville Store at the corner of Hwy 62 and Hwy 12 in Mauriceville after receiving devastating damages during Hurricane Harvey.

The current Market Basket in Mauriceville has renovated store space to take care of the needs of the customers in the Mauriceville area, while a new store will be built on adjacent property.

President of Market Basket Foods Skylar Thompson, said “After Hurricane Harvey we had renovations that had to be completed in order to provide for the needs of our customers. The necessary upgrades have been made and we are open to help residents with all their grocery needs.”

He further stated, “And this is just the beginning for our Mauriceville customers. As that area has grown and flourished, so have the needs for a larger and more diverse grocery store. Market Basket has always provided what our customers wanted and that is what they will see in the very near future, a new state-of-the-art store that is 50-percent larger.”
